Could be a potentially misleading claim about the way the club is run rather than a reference to our part time status. Saying we are a semi- professional or part time professional or sometimes we’re professional sometimes we are a load of old pony might have looked terrible. My view: let them have this one.

Little to say about this. Commercial is a wide ranging term that covers a range of areas......it's the lack of the word MARKETING that irks me....flogging sponsorship is hard enough, but flogging sponsorship when the club attracts fewer than 1k fans is tougher.
I wish him well and hope he lasts longer here than he has at other jobs, many if which seem to be "contracted" roles.....ask anyone you know in HR/Recruitment about what they think of "contracted roles" on a CV........
