| Remember him? He's commentating on the Middlesex v Durham match and is reminiscing about the Broncos and his trip to Carcassonne when we beat Wire there in 2002.
I shared a cab with him once, he's a good bloke and it's nice to know he hasn't forgotten us although it really does bring home how far we have fallen since he regularly covered us on Radio London.

| Was good for him but sad for us when he was "promoted" to cover cricket. But when the final rites over the Broncos carcass are uttered, that weekend in Carcassonne will burn bright in the memory for many a year. Been back to Bar Felix many times since & still a great place to get rat d.

| That was my first trip to the South of France and I loved it. The Broncos may not be returning to France anytime soon, especially if we get relegated, so the World Cup in 2025 maybe worth saving and planning for.

| I used to remember watching the Preacher going nuts in the commentary booth at Griffin Park!!
Just as a BTW BBC London covered us in SL at Trailfinders, used to see their car in the car park by the DB Stand. First game I went to that season I parked next to it and we won. Did the same next time and we won again.
At the last home game I got to when I arrived at the gate I said to the bloke ‘where’s the BBC London car? I need to park beside it’ He looked at me as if I was mad and tried to get me to park behind the new stand.
So I drove down to the DB , found the BBC London car and parked by it - and we won ( v Saints) . I found the bloke afterwards and said’ I told you I HAD to park next to the BBC London car - otherwise we wouldn’t win!’

| Good evening RfE, hope you are well. These superstitions are common. There has, for many years now, been a short glass on the windowsill outside the kitchen at Bongser Towers (and it needs to stay there). The castellan noticed that, throughout the more inclement months it remained 3/4 full as every raindrop or splash from the gargoyles aloft displaced the same volume of water. One time in Summer, after an unexpectedly poor Leigh display, he noticed that the glass was virtually empty.
In prep for the 1895 Final tomorrow it has been artificially filled to 75%.
