We have been in York yesterday. On the Radio it was said that they had taken a couple of young lads from Leeds and are putting them straight into the seventeen for Sunday.

I wore my Broncos polo shirt whilst there. An older chap came up to me and said he thought that they would thrash us. I said that I agreed.

Mate, if we were at war and had the Broncos leadership, I doubt many would sign up as the club would not tell anyone we were at war (unless you were part if the Supporters club).

The WW1 adage, Lions led by donkeys comes to mind.

Never quite understood that phrase as donkeys are loyal hard working beasts often abused by humans. Would have said lions led by pussys but quite like cats too. I've referred to Monkey Lover as a Lemur who are generally considered to be the dumbest primate so Lions led by Lemurs. Sure Attenborough could make a good programme out of that.
