Neil has done a great job of bringing in tons of sponsorship in a very short time frame and to be fair to Jason he also brokered the best kit deal the club have had in it's history with BSKPro and errea. As the club tries to become less dependent on David these sponsorship deals are essential. Ideally all shirts would be sponsor free but it is of course impossible nowadays, even for the huge players like Manchester United.

Chevron had been done to death and whilst it is traditional Fulham so will naturally come back in a year or so the fans must have been getting bored of that design and the reaction shows something different has gone down very well.

If the club can pull off what they are trying to do in terms of the away shirt and the launch event it will be a massive indication of how well things are being done now. They are trying to arrange something very cool for that day.

I doubt that there will be a great surge of money coming in from these sponsorship deals. They appear to be more mutual sponsors than anything else. We stick their logo on our shirt, they give us something in return.
Dacia for example are making a car available to the community team. That is probably the full extent of their commitment. No cash.
As a club we are where we are. If that is the way they have to do business, then get it done.

There is little interest in 800 fans for 13/15 home games a year and the opportunity to maybe be on TV once or twice.....that's 12,000 sets of eyeballs all year, so I reckon it's all contra-deals with little or no cash coming in. The big player though will be Bartercard......as they can issue us with as much in Bartercard Dollars as they like meaning we can buy exclusively from Bartercard vendors reducing DH's input. I know Bartercard have options for Hotel Stays over here (NZ) and have friends who have sorted out accommodation and Transfers etc on trips to 'stralia.....so maybe we will get coach hire, hotels etc from this deal?
