A good win despite the awful weather and a dreadful pitch. The referee seemed to like the sound of his whistle, he was somewhat pedantic.
Sammuts was a clever try, using the wind to his advantage. Other than that we failed make use of it. In fact some of our plays were really dumb you cannot throw long passes in wind like that with any precision, yet we tried to. 40/20s with the wind behind us would have been easy, yet we failed to even make a serious attempt at any.
I hope Ackers injury is not too serious. He has been outstanding so far this season.
Thought Walker did well, was not a good day to be playing full back, yet he handled it well and got himself in a good position to take his try.
Be good to play on a decent pitch next week. we played our best rugby this season at Ealing and as you know, we lost.

He just said it was by far our best away performance out of the 3 this season to date.

Ahhh well there is the rub, we scraped a win at swinton and should have at least drawn if not lost at Oldham, so when you are comparing average against rubbish then he was telling it how it is. After the KR game that was a joy to watch the game at dewsbury was extremely poor.
But, yep you are right it's another 2 points in the bag.
We need to play better next week, hopefully the plastic pitch will help us, the pitch at dewsbury was not the best but gave seen much worse
