We were defending, Sammut was fifteen metres or so out, slightly to the left of the sticks when he took the drop kick.
Everyone expected him to dink the ball in for someone to run on to. No he put it right between the sticks for a single point.
Not a single person expected it. Okay they got the ball back but they really had to start again and their attack was not too piercing.
So it really was an own goal.
