Besides the fella was not happy when he got an invite to an event that he had to pay for, now they have invited him to an event for free but upset because they have effectively included RSVP on the invite.

So what is any professional sports club run for if not for the people who turn up to watch. Yes the club needs new fans, it also needs it's current ones, or are you suggesting we all stop going ?

I'd suggest that getting back to having 5,000 fans starts with not losing the ones you have, so holding activities like this. If we had done more of this in the past, maybe the 5,000 wouldn't be 500.

Did anyone go to the season launch event in the RN TA establishment a few years back down by the Tower of London? I remember a few faces that went but it was not a great attendance. Think the following year was at a pub in North London, that was the sign of the club struggling with finances.

The reality is until we start winning on the park, the fair weather fans will stay away. It's not a dig at those fans it's just the nature of the beast.
