To be honest Wigan playing a game in London can't do any harm, if they market it and get some nuetrals in and put on a decent game then the results can only be positive for the game in the south.
Sadly the eng nz game was not what you might call a classic and for non rl fans New to it quite probably very dull, so an open entertaining Wigan game might show what the game can be like

I thought that we would have had the big announcement regarding this game by now. They made enough noise about it a month or so ago.
