As are most German football clubs. In League we have Rochdale, Hunslet and Hemel. In soccer the list includes AFC Wimbledon, Exeter City, Wycombe Wanderers, Swansea City (part), FC United. I think Hearts is moving towards supporter ownership as well. Brentford were saved by a Supporters Trust.
Funnily enough Acton and Willesden, who folded in 1936, did so because the RFL would not allow the supporters to take over the Club and run it themselves!
Quote: Bostwick "I saw them play a Central Park and there were not many there and then at Bourne Park which is behind Central Park and there were even less.
Now Central Park Sittingbourne would suit The Broncos, its just a bi too far out of the way.'"
Princes Park Dartford and you'd be talking a ground that would suit Broncos.

I seem to remember some of the funding for Princes Park was aided by the fact rugby league was going to be played there. Not long after opening, possibly one game even, someone decided it was too expensive to open the stadium up for Kent Ravens. The rest is history.
I've visited Dartford just once and that was enough. Delayed about 3 hours on return by an overturned caravan on M25. And it's a bit far to cycle from Wiltshire.
