Hypocritical nonsense. You have a go at Gutterfax for disrespecting people who still go, but are happy to do so yourself if anyone dares to criticise the club. You have a go at people who travel much further for home games than most northern fans go for away games. You still haven't explained your spurious comparison to Leeds fans, which I can only conclude was used just to slag off fans that don't sheepishly crawl in support to every decision made by the club.
I have never complained about doing a four hour round trip to games. I have been doing it for the last 28 years because I have wanted to watch rugby league and wanted to watch the club I support. However, I have to ask whether the club I support actually wants me there.
The club knows that transport links are significantly worse for Trailfinders on a Sunday than a Saturday and yet have chosen the former matchday. I cannot be the only person who will now be spending five hours plus getting there instead of four hours if games were on Saturday. In fact I suspect the vast majority of fans will have a longer journey on a Sunday. It may not matter to you but I suspect that does make a difference for many. While the bull comes out that they want to make it a club again, the disrespect shown towards supporters time and time again shows they couldn't care less.
At a time when they have haemorrhaged crowds to sub Chiswick levels one would have thought not finding new and original ways to hack off those few remaining supporters would be sensible. Still no doubt you will find ways of criticising this as being unduly negative. Given the way crowds have fallen I wonder if a sub 100 crowd is on the horizon and if you will still find a way to support the powers that be at that time.
