Quote brian2="brian2"Interesting. Do you really support the Club/team? in the last 2/3 years under your thousand and one guises, i havent read a single positive comment about anything to do with the Club/team?
Thats a strange kind of support! And i am not saying everything is marvellous/all in the garden is rosy - it very clearly is not. The club has been appallingly run, but it is deeply boring to have the same sentiments/statements regurgitated on every single thread....'"
The fact of the matter is we as a club are now buying kit from a brokerage firm who represent a number of small manufacturers. I didn't say anything negative about this deal other than "my fuller figure" wouldn't look so good in some of the Kappa Leisure wear.
Unfortunately, the club apologist and resident grass Jaybs then chipped in with a pop about non-existent negativity and a false claim that Kappa are a Major Player......they are not...as I showed with facts and you think this makes me a 'sad person"
As for me saying anything positive about the club, feel free to list all those instances when I should have been positive? Maybe when we moved to the Hive? Maybe when we returned to the Broncos name? maybe when we made the cup semi-final (only to be humiliated)? Maybe our proud record of never finishing bottom until it mattered? Maybe the 3 to 4,000 fans that have been jettisoned in the name of one mans obsession? Maybe when we were relegated or possibly the mid table performances of the team this year? Maybe enthusiastic Joey Grima, described as a good sort but totally out of his depth was something I should have "whooped and hollared" about.
By the way, in the last 3 seasons in SL we won 13 from 81 games (16%), conceding an average of 38 points a game scoring 19 and were watched by 2,105 per game....maybe given that I had predicted this demise and had constantly told the club, the owner and the RFL what was going to happen, then maybe I should have been happy and posted something personally positive but believe me, I take no pleasure in being right.
731 was the average attendance at the Hive this year....the lowest of the top 24 professional sides in Europe. Maybe I should post something positive about that too?
