Quote: Rob from Erith "I don't have a problem with the price but I can add just over £90 to it and have a ST at the Olympic stadium. I think I'll just limit myself to rocking up at the odd game next season, and standing pitchside- it'll be just like when I used to watch my kids play sports years ago.'"
Or pay £100 less for a ST at Skolars.
Too much water under the bridge for me after over a quarter of a century as a season ticket holder. My first year as a ST holder was while we were at Chiswick Poly Ground, which incredibly was possibly a better ground. Despite the hardships there at least the club seemed to be a club.
I am afraid what was said last night seems to have been more same old same old, which we have all heard before. Just lip service. Already we have seen the lack of concern for the supporters by the club choosing Sundays to play despite knowing of the difficulties faced to get to the ground on public transport.
I dare say I will go to the odd game, but Skolars, Hemel and amateur RL will all now take precedence.
