GF may be a pain in the backside however for a change he is right about one thing. Wimbledon Stadium was demolished and had houses built on it. Wimbledon Greyhound STADIUM whose address is PLOUGH Lane are still alive and kicking but it is due to close and be demolished to make way for a new football stadium with housing and shopping. Hence there is to be a new stadium built in Plough Lane.

Whether you see Wimbledon as returning to Plough lane or Wimbledon as building a new stadium on plough lane that has no connection to their previous home on Plough Lane and was referred to simply as Plough Lane matters very little. It's nice to see that yet another thread has become more about me than the subject under discussion, purely because some posters prefer to have a dig at my "negativity" rather than accept the facts as they are laid out.
This "pack attack" mentality is what drives posters from these forums, not my opinion.....this thread was doing fine until page 5, when it was pointed out that my geographical position apparently bars me from having an opinion about an area in which I still own a property.

Still no planning information available regarding the ground. It's hard to tell how many houses at Vallis way would be directly affected if they were to build a second stand across from the grand stand. As for us investing in the ground, it is owned by a charity set up by trailfinders, so any investment would probably be in return for assured tenure not part ownership.
