Quote mickyb1234="mickyb1234"So lots of rumours people latching on to random ground names, anyone actually heard anything to back up any of the thoughts?'"
As usual, the "rumours" become fact when dealing with the London Broncos......you and the rest of the clique putting your hands over your ears and eyes and hoping it's not happening doesn't change the track record of this club or alter the route it is on. If ever proof were needed that Hughes has not the slightest frigging clue as to what he's doing, then this is it.
Basically, rather than actually spend money attracting fans, he's moving us to grounds where it makes no odds if anyone turns up, because they are tiny......it's almost like he's prolonging the death of the club to spite the RFL.
Oh, if anyone's bothered, I did post a load of info about the ground earlier in the thread when it was still a "clique branded" rumour.....no doubt someone will think this is an opportunity to showcase the game to a new audience.....as in wedding guests using the facilities.
Quote mickyb1234="Jim Pooley"SL self sufficiency requires 10,000 fans a game paying 20 each, and other residual revenues and SKY TV money delivering a turn-over of not less than 4 million. This London Club in its current guise will never return to Super League......Hughes has seen to that. Ealing Trailfinders is a tidy little sports ground with a Cricket Crease on the other side of the Stand/Club rooms.....it could be the Headingley of the South!
Edit. [urlhttp://www.tfsc.co.uk/sport.htm[/url
The Pitch is available for general hire for £250.00 at weekends, or £720.00 weekend evening games.....if we were getting 600 to games next year then over 11 regular season matches, that's £132k a season on the door for a cost of £2,750 in pitch hire (based on 3pm Sat/Sun)
Unless we are buying into the grounds, that'll be it other than shirt sales.....200 or so won't add much to the coffers.
Not sure how much Sky money we get next year, but if it's say £300k, then we could be looking at an income of about half a million before Hughes chips in.

Tidy little set up there. I can see this being a permanent home for us with.....Bristol and London Scottish at Ealing in the Union next year will probably require another temporary stand, so there's probaly a chance we could squeeze 2k in if required.
