Paul Cooke of Doncaster wouldn't be a bad shout, he's done a very good job imo at Donny with next to no money available. Steve Mccormack would also be a very wise choice if he's willing to take the job, knows this division very well and has a good track record.

I hope that all works out for Joe, it is reported that the club tried to work things out, but it was Joe's decision. We do need to find the right guy and quickly.

A quick question. Why do people think he was out of his depth? He was an Assistant at NRL clubs for years?

Answer to that one is pretty easy don't think that many people said that mainly 1 person. I personally think the bloke put his heart and soul into the job, you can see that in his face when he was interviewed, maybe that didn't help.

He brought a group of players together full time on a significant budget, coached them for a number of months as a group, and in the first few games the team looked clueless against part time opposition.(Leigh being the exception). Early days I accept.

He was at the club the year before so knew the culture. He looked like a rabbitt in the headlights after the Sheffield game
