No Michael, it wasn't the first time gutterfax had used an @ or any other symbol for that matter. The issue gutterfax has is that no warning was issued, as is the normal procedure in such cases, but instead, a permanent ban.
Since this ban, the moderator concerned, Saint Simon has been asked if anything has been done about the breach below?

...it appears nothing has been done, because Ferocious Aardvark's opinions don't upset Saint Simon.
The role of a a moderator is to stay impartial, not try to make popular decisions....

.....it seems popularity plays a role in this ban, as does the opinions held by gutterfax.
Still he's banned and we should all move on, although my posts of late to seem to have turned into a forum based version of where's (the) wally.
