Quote: The Chronicler of Chiswic "From my observations with the Crusaders last season, I think that you've got it about right with the visiting support. Incidentally, the club needs to be a bit wary with Fev - they've an albeit very small number of travelling supporters who were a right Royal pain in the botty (mostly young lads wearing large flat caps) whose behaviour was such that the Cru looked at whether it might be necessary to segregate visiting fans.'"
There were 2 incidents last season to my knowledge involving Fev fans away that resulted in complaints, the aforementioned one at Cru and one at Leigh (think it involved a plastic bottle being thrown), both were dealt with by the club including some lengthy bans after the second incident. Fev generally travel in decent numbers but with the odd exception the fans are generally noisy but good-natured. There were several hundred (can't remember exact figure but probably 400-500 though to be fair that number was helped by subsidised buses) who came down to the Cup game at the Stoop in 2012 and I don't remember seeing any unsavoury incidents at all, we were in a separate stand but I don't think anyone was out for trouble anyway.
Fev will bring a fair few again, Leigh tend to travel in good numbers these days, Bradford will bring plenty for sure. Fax will probably depend on how they go as a lot of fans seem to have drifted away but if they are going well they are capable of decent away support. Most of the other teams you aren't likely to be seeing great numbers of away supporters, it's a shame Cru aren't in the Championship any more though as their fans though not necessarily big in number were terrific.
