I heard a whisper David nearly walked as he was as sick as the fans at the conduct of a fair chunk of our squad. The ones who took a lot and delivered very little, if anything in some cases.

Frankly they alienated me and plenty of other fans and I was only forking out for a season ticket, travel etc. I can't conceive of what I'd have made of it all if I was forking out a million plus a year.

Media reports that David didn't even bother to watch the second half of the semi final last season suggests he pretty much had had enough at that point.

Anyway that's all chip paper wrapping now and Joey seems to be building a decent squad for next season. Hopefully something positive can be salvaged and those money grabbing clowns won't end up killing the club.
