Quote: gutterfax "In February I said we'd finish bottom and be relegated whilst not winning a game and conceding more points in a season than our highest announced home attendance. I was told then I was mad.....maybe I am, but I was spot on!
More so, I have banged on about the perils of ignoring the business side of running a club. I warned that the reliance on Hughes cash was a disaster waiting to happen, but was told my statistics meant little. I was apoplectic with the idiocy of Blanchard and MacKay but was shouted down for making it personal. The fact of the matter is I was right and I am still right, but some people prefer to live in a bubble of faux positivity. Another hammering today........losing is part of the club now and regardless of next years lower tier opposition, getting that out of the psyche could be too hard.'"
Agreed.
I bought a membership knowing that we wouldn't win a game this season, and will continue to do so. Mr Grima seems to be getting rid of all the players tainted by the losing mentality. That's his call and I believe he is right. If he fails it is curtains for the Broncos, then again he may not and he will get us up or a least winning some games.
I will continue to support RL in the south regardless of the success of the Broncos as they are not the be all and end all of the sport around London.
