| Well it is 940am over here. How are you Homer? We can chat whilst everyone else is probably in bed. LOL
I remember over there that laurie Daley came over to myself in Canberra as I was near Rupe and that big bloke CLIFF, remember him? And Mr Daley politely said "It's a long way to come for that". I didn't repay the compliment in the bar at the Stoop as he hid in the players' section. He was one of those that atleast went over for a drink as opposed to the other Canberra players who went straight from the sheds to their hotel.
You do realise that the ego is watching this and graciously allowing us to talk while he observes from up on high til he deems it necessary to prove a point, despite loads of fans already leaving this site because of him?

Also the Stoop, against Warrington '99, my boy's first birthday and Mr S Edwards signing his programme for me, and ofcourse a couple of weeks later, Wembley, agin the Loiners, bad result but what a day!
Also anyone remember the Saints game at the Valley '96, fantastic.

| Homer and rooster booster have nailed two of mine.
The saints game is the one where I managed to escape from hospital for the night with a veinflow still in my arm - was on intravenous antibiotics for 10 days and it was looking like I'd miss my first game in 4 years. What a night!!! Went back to the ward well happy.
As for the Canberra game...... I remember running on the pitch over joyed

I was wondering who would be the first to mention He who must not be named. The Canberra game must be one of the top Broncos games ever, not so much for the events on the pitch as the excellent marketing strategy and consequent attendance figure.

The match when London fell in love with RL - it has since fallen out of love but that is another topic!

| Yes it has to be beating Canberra in The World Club Challenge at The Stoop, 27th July 1997, 38-18, it was about the only time I felt that The Stoop really Rocked! the build up, the atmosphere, everything was just right, the advertising campaign on Capital FM.
I sponsored the match ball, which was signed after the match, and still have the engraved glass tankard they did for the match,

| 1st November 1987 - Fulham v Papua New Guinea - 4-12
While I had been to live games before (including all of Southend Invicta's home fixtures!), this was the one which ignited the passion to trail across London on a fortnightly basis, which has continued to burn until recently. For me players like Huw "Sumo" Rees, Kieran Murphy, Colin Fenn and Dave Gillan became superstars (if only in my mind).
Mention in dispatches for Fulham v Wigan - Lancashire Cup 2nd round - 27/9/89 - 4-34 at Hendon. Given the club's run in super league and constant games on satellite TV, I guess many people won't see what a big deal this game was. In those days we only got to see the likes of Edwards and Gregory two or three times a year on the BBC in Regal Trophy or Challenge Cup ties. Having them come to play was like aliens landing. Good coverage in the press and on TV I recall and also a 3200 crowd!

| Actually despite the loss. The game at Charlton against St Helens. The name Apollo Perillini shall haunt me.
Nice to see Homer and The Gob. Anyone else coming back? The Curtism and many others?
