Really? I'm flattered that you deem my musings as bad as presiding over 6 million in losses over 3 years on the back of a 12 million turn over, the alienation of the hard core of the supporters, the reduction of ST holder numbers from 1,000 to 200.
Rarely talk about myself unless it's to show an example of how things have worked, how marketing campaigns have increased attendances or to respond to a direct question/accusation on here.

GF owns this forum through sheer weight of posts. No one else has the time or inclination to argue the hind leg off a donkey to make their point and so GF is the winner by default and so can always argue he is right because his adversary will always give up first. He is your de facto moderator.
I don't think I know of another forum so dominated by one individual to the point where other posters treat the site like 'ask GF' rather than a discussion amongst the fans. It's all a bit sad really as everything gets dissected by one individual to the point were only one point of view is acceptable and is repeated daily like some kind of religious mantra.
A number of Bronco fans at games and on twitter have told me they wont come on here because it's toxic and that's depressing tbh. You need an open and welcoming forum to help you pull together as a fan base and this isn't it.
So if you want to discuss the rugby go on twitter, if you want to hear about attendances and club finances then this is the place to be as GF will regale you with stats to your hearts content.

| I certainly haven't stopped posting because of GF's comments. I've virtually stopped posting here because as a team we're not fit for purpose with our 14 losses on the trot this season (incl pre-season games) and therefor have nothing positive/new/cheerful/supportive/enthusiastic to add or even get excited about. However, I can't wait for our first win of the season... if it ever materialises... but I am hopeful it will happen  So until that win... c'mon the mighty Broncos!!  |
