3. Why did the club leave the Stoop that was in the heart of Union land south of the Thames , and move to a ground in the heart of Union land north of the Thames ?
'"
North London is football land not union land (I say that as a Saracens fan).
I had been looking forward to going to a few Bronocs games as they are now more local to me but there's nothing worse than a very one sided game and it looks like it could be a full season of those... Not been to a game at the Hive yet as the first 3 home games clashed with RU 6 nations, next two home games being on a Thursday is hardly going to help crowds...

it is the classic mistake made by many non-Londoners and all foreigners who are either tourists or now living in the capital, that the Tube map is a map of London.
Therefore it is perfectly safe to assume that the Oil broker and his African puppet believe that the tube station's proximity to the Hive was a game changer........alas, the only thing it is likely to change is the division the team play in

| Point of order.
There is no UNION heartland. Nor is there a Soccer on e either.......there is on the other hand, a RL heartland, because that's where 99.9% of the teams that play the game are based.
There are Union teams scattered from the West Country to the East Midlands, a couple further north and a few along the M4 with some in London.
Also, TWICKENHAM is not a Union heartland. TWICKENHAM is where the RFU happen to have their stadium. Same goes for WEMBLEY......it is not a soccer heartland.
You could situate the London Broncos anywhere in the UK.....with the idiots in charge still in charge, nobody would care, none would bother and even less would turn up to watch.

| Welcome DartfordBronco. Agree with your points that the prices aren't going to help with attracting new fans.We should've done what the Big Hit RLWC Semi Finals done with the fantastic pricings. Really baffles me how we haven't had any incentives to bring people in from the area who are mostly, QPR,Arsenal,Spurs,Watford and Barnet fans and would have never seen an RL match in their life.
Agree with GF re: the Ian Lenegan situation.
Our hope is that an investor comes in to replace the current administration or even the Barnet Chairman gets into a joint venture. But as the weeks go on, still no news.

| To try to answer the OP's query:
- On field performance was always going to be very poor this season. We knew this 6 months or so ago when the established squad was allowed to disintegrate without the possibility of any new recruitment until the new ground-share was finalised. Other clubs have had squads assembled and in training together since early November. We still have players arriving within the past couple of weeks. And of course, being so late at the races, we've been able to recruit only those players that nobody else wanted.
- Off-field, there is no evidence of any leadership or attempts at supporter engagement from whoever is currently "managing" this "organisation". Just one example (which has already been highlighted by others) - I've been a season ticket holder for more than 10 years. I've bought no ticket of any type this season. And how has the club reacted to my disappearance from the stands and the revenue stream? Not at all. Not a single contact. I recall that a few seasons ago I was a bit dilatory about renewing my season ticket. What happened then? I received a phone call, on behalf of the club, from one of the academy lads. But now? NOTHING. I'm afraid that the club deserves to die because it's doing almost nothing to keep itself alive.

When will it sink in........it is not a ground share. The landlord receives money from London broncos, money from London broncos fans and from the RFL.......London broncos don't "share" anything

Exactly.
This season I have had a 50% off voucher through the post from Hemel Stags as I went to one RLWC game and today I got an e-mail from the RFL offering me half price ticket for London Slokars...nothing from the Broncos.

| Thank you all for taking the time to write a post. One thing is clear, whether I agree or not , you all clearly have a passion for the club that can only be applauded.
Personally, I don't think its worth the £50 for the family, plus the travelling costs to watch a team who at this moment in time look like certainties to be relegated. The team are really trying but I don't see why I should part with hard earned cash to watch them get hammered.
I wish you all the very best for the remainder of the season, and someone should talk to Barry Hearn about how he turned snooker and darts into major sporting attractions ! Now there's a man who knows how to put bums on seats........

If you don't like the use of the term ground share, kindly provide some succinct alternative wording and I'll amend my post.
