Somebody needs to speak to the ticketing staff. Apparently a pass from the RFL for match day admission is not recognised. Was refused admission on it and told to pay. Not the only person who had a pass from RFL who was refused admisssion. Doubt the other pass holder I saw treated similarly will be letting the matter rest either. Not the money but a matter of principle.

My deal for videoing Under 19s (and plenty of other age groups previously) was I don't charge club but get free access to 1st team games. That's now changed and will be invoicing for each game. No more freebie copies for players/parents/speccies unless Broncos pay. Well done, another expense to add to the budget.

Its a pity we lost Nesi and couldn't play Solo on the wing. More players in their natural position has to make us better you'd think.

....... and Catalans on a Thursday a couple of weeks later even worse. But fortunately our future in SL is dependant what happens on the field and not on the terraces as far as I am aware ?

That sounds pretty shambolic but a polite e-mail to the Hive will solve it I'm sure. They're still finding their feet as an RL venue.

As for the game, it was very disappointing to see them fall away as badly as they did. Conditioning is an issue we've had for a couple of years and it is frustrating to see it hasn't gone away. This may well be a result of the team being thrown together, but with all the other issues we've got to contend with in order to stay up, this is unhelpful to say the least.

Bishay had a good game - he's maturing as a player which is great to see, and he's developing that sleight of hand with his passing. In-field kicking needs work but still, he's not looking out of place in SL at all.

Solomona looks handy. Krasniqi had a great game, and people forget he's still a youngster too - need to make sure he's not run into the ground like we did with McCarthy-Scarsbrook.

There's some leeway given what happened this off-season but, as you say, it's a long-running issue. Really, there's no excuse for not being as fit as everyone else in the league. Not being good enough is one thing, but not being fit is unacceptable.

When I've travelled to the ground at the behest of the club ? Wasn't going to the game but was asked to drop some stuff from U19s game from Saturday off so changed my plans.
Won't be emailing the Hive as will just talk to Gus or Tony Rea direct & tell them. However, doubt I shall vist the Hive again, Jobsworth doesn't even start to sum up the attitude of most of the staff encountered !

I thought you looked good in attack in the first half and have some really good players. Farrar looked good in parts, although he was a good player when he was at Catalans, and was pleased to see Bishay play so well - deserved MOTM. Looked a better prospect than Myler if you judge it just on that game! Solomona looked handy - is Atkins really a centre? Looked like a donkey to me. Caton-Brown again looked a good player. So plenty to work with but towards the end of the second half you did look knackered and started dropping off tackles (worst being for Ormsby's try.) However, they didn't give up. You have something to work with on the field.

I appreciate you're glad to have a team still, and as someone who has lived in London and the SE for 17 years now - I've always followed London when I can even if from afar and would love to see it grow and reach a solid 5 - 10k attendance.

But I thought today was quite a dispiriting experience in comparison to the Stoop. The crowd was more like 800 I thought and was relieved when I heard it called at 1300 odd. It reminded me of going to watch an Ice Hockey game a few years back for the London Kings or whatever they were called at a sports centre over in Walthamstow Forest.

The ground isn't bad but there was just no feel that you were watching top level sport in a top level environment. I used to really enjoy going to the Stoop as you had the band afterwards, the players coming in and you were able to carry on into Richmond etc. The last London game I went to was Leeds at the end last season and the difference in atmosphere etc. was marked. That had 2,300 which was considered a poor crowd at the time.

The main thing that came across to me is that there is no plan to grow the club or the attendance. DH has basically abdicated responsibility to TK and thinking that the marketing team for a small non-league football club is going to suddenly starting growing and marketing the Broncos to a mass audience is nuts. I'd be interested to see a presentation of the marketing plan split out per event (match). But I think we know there probably isn't one. I've seen comments on here such as - it'll be a great atmosphere with 3k in etc. But that's more than double today's attendance - how is that going to happen?

There's a great business / sales book called "Hope isn't a strategy" - Gus should read it.

It's really sad - I always thought at the Stoop you had a chance but I just don't see how the club will grow at The Hive. The attendance at The Hive puts paid to the myth that people didn't go as you played at The Stoop / were in Union territory etc.

Anyway - sorry for the negativity as it was a good game, with some good tries scored by both teams and at least we can still watch top flight RL here - I think you have a good chance of staying up and hopefully Catalans will pick up. It would be typical RL if you and CD get relegated.

Did you sit in the main stand or were you on the terrace?

Having been twice to the Hive, I feel that the atmosphere has been better than the Stoop but that could be because I can easily get a seat in the middle of the main stand where most of the Broncos noise seems to come from. I'd be interested to see a pic of what the stand looks on match day during the game.

I think you have missed the point here. Broncos no longer have control of tickets and who does\does not get into the ground for free.

If Broncos are giving you a pass without ensuring that the Hive are aware of it and have approved it then why should they let you in?
