Annoying.But hey, it's fine.Teams miss out on big signings after things get completed all the time:Eg: Jon Obi Mikel, Juan Mata.....Gutting for sure, but lets look forward to other options.
Even if 22 signed (and it's just a few PR announcements) we would still be 3 short of a full first team squad. Given we used 38 players last year and have been closer to 30 + the last few, the gaps remain obvious. I am not clear we have u20s to suddenly call in as replacements in an emergency, as they are all in first team now.
