A number of factors to be taken into account with regard to 2014 for the Bulls.
1. 600k down on TV cash again. This hurt them in 2013 and I very much doubt that the 2 wide boys at the helm now have 900k lying about handy.
2. The business plan for 2014 is based about increased sales........go figure
Coral facility, club shop and Season Tickets are the 3 main earners, together with more concerts like the one targeted to deliver 15k in attendance but only provided 8k......I fear for them once ST sales stall at about 7k.
3. It's a dog eat dog year......any sign of them needing assistance and most clubs will cut them loose.
4. The new Owners. 2 Guys of very questionable pedigree...one has had 9 dissolved pubs/hotels/entertainment companies since 2006 and he's charged with flogging the coral facility and the concerts, whilst the other guy knows how to broker bed sales on-line.......this is the ICONIC Bradford bulls we are talking about here.
5. Contrary to what they'd have you believe, I don't want Bradford to fold, but I would appreciate a certain amount of honesty and clarification, because it is not in the interest of the RFL if Bradford go under and as such, they will again step in to save them whilst Wakefield or London or Castleford or HKA are left to die......it's unjust and hypercritical to say the least.
6. OK and 2 other owners walk....no financials are released and we're expected to think it's all above board......leave it out
.....it stinks to high heaven IMHO......
