I think that 250 is a VERY optimistic estimate of our support on Saturday - it wouldn't suprise me if there are more Crusaders' supporters at the Skolar's Cup Final eve game than we had at Leigh (one coach already booked just for the game plus a fair few independents oop for 't Cup).

There has to be a young hot-shot kicking his heels at a bigger SL club who we could borrow for 12 months? Someone who would relish the chance to make a name for themselves...
We are never going to be of interest to investors or sponsors whilst we stumble about on crowds of 2k at the foot of the table...what is needed is someone willing to work 16 hours a day 7 days a week, re-engage the fans and volunteers and get the community feel back into the club.

I swear to God....the damage that Gus has done to the club makes my blood boil.

Talking of sponsors, @SelcoSports on twitter seems to have given up on us. Plenty of tweets still coming about Birmingham Brummies speedway, but we've had no mention since before the CC SF at Leigh/Wigan.

If we stay at the Stoop next year after spending this season concentrating all efforts on a new stadium for next year, I give up all hope. Farcical.

Why did we not have the stadium sorted for the duration of the licence period in the first place. Prioritising a move was always a poor decision. It is hardly a surprise that the CEO has taken all season to do this. It is a convenient smokescreen to mask his lack of progress on what should have been more important issues.
