Absolutely pathetic- strip the captaincy and release him if possible, otherwise bench.
If you're "sick of losing" then it's time to step up and take some accountability to help motivate the team towards a few wins- that should go without saying for any veteran player, never mind the captain.

Seriously, he may be unhappy (aren't they all) but he has received either bad advice or no advice in going public on this. What club official, reading that, will come in for a whinger with a losers attitude like that?

I walk out of nearly all of our games embarrassed but there's sod all I can do about it on the pitch, he is meant to be in a position of influence as one of our more senior players. Echo most thoughts on here, absolutely disgraceful, unprofessional comments and I wouldn't want to see him wear the shirt again.

The whole article is from the July issue of 40-20 magazine written by Angela Powers which came from her TV interview with him. He's not spoken twice as some suggest just the once in a masterstroke of media management and promotion for the club. How anyone in the club allowed this is beyond belief. Sorry I forgot they haven't a clue.
