There'll be plenty of Leigh/St Helens fans there cheering you guys on if we win tonight. If you do get to the final, I'd hope that all the neutrals will be supporting you then as well, as I know I would be.

Playing devils advocate, if Wigan do win tonight, it might be argued that is better to make a few hundred fans travel 200 miles than it is to make a few thousand....

This just about sums up Nigel's marketing skills at Red Hall, when you get 7,800 at Warrington V Huddersfield, he had to find the smallest stadium available, even if it is just a walk from Wigan, he will be Praying tonight that the Warriors win!

What is idiotic from the RFL is to play the match in a Stadium with poor public transport links. That should rule out Leigh automatically

I'm not disappointed with the decision to play near Wigan but why not Widnes or St Helens? It would be a three hour trip almost anywhere so it doesn't make a lot of odds to me to travel, as I do anyway.

If it is near the Pies a crowd of about 10,000 will come and our club will pocket 5,000 lots of £20 or so = £100,000 plus TV money.

If we played in e.g. Huddersfield then the gate would be lower, maybe only a few thousand, especially as the Pies are arrogant enough to think they are automatically in the final already.

Buy a pie-speak to English phrase book. Then get a train to Wigan and ask directions on arrival.
