What have Hudds getting 5000 got to do with London fans not doing anything?
I'm well aware if the spread of London fans, i have to travel over an hour to get to the stoop, but even when you're all in the stadium, nothing.
You might not be a fan of protests but sometimes it's makes the money people aware, sponsors at the game may not always be aware of discontent, but when they see fans at games not happy, they ask questions.
If fans don't vocalise their issues, then the guys in charge don't feel any pressure.
How you can blame the RFL for internal abject failure really is sticking your head in the sand, the alleged DH playing hard ball with an organisation that doesn't give a crap about his club was another failure. The only one constantly putting pressure on Gus (GF)getting emails asking him to stop was laughable but if you'd all have done the same he might have been shown the door a long time ago. There are problems in RL, but people in other areas work to solve them or work to campaign against them, Leigh had a prominent MP fight their cause they were so passionate. Well at least you can enjoy a nice match day curry though, so all's well.'"
I don't see Huddersfield fans up in arms that their club seems to be fading with attendances, when at last they are doing well on the pitch!
An hour to The Stoop, one time it used to be no more than two and a half hours drive for me, now it is getting more three and a half hours, M6, M40 and M25.
I'm not sticking my head in the sand the RFL or those two at the top! do a lot of mouth service but when it comes to the action and results I never see much action!
Yes I agree Gus is doing nothing for us, he makes promises of news that never materialises, without David Hughes would we have been here now in 2013, I doubt it, I'm quite sure Nigel Woods would have not done for us what he did for the Bulls!
Leigh, OK, yes they have a nice ground now, not their money! but the club continues to struggle financially and not even that strong on the pitch, well behind the leaders, an MP of yes we hear a lot about health problems from him, and he caused most of them as once health minister!
Again I said to you it is completely different when a club is in and part of a community, our following comes from such a large area, I was sent to cover the first game on radio as a teenager from the North, and I have followed ever since, been loyal, had my say and often got knocked for it, sent my letter and emails when so frustrated and still never walked away like so many others here!
Dr Koukash must today be regretting he ever met Nigel Woods, the stick he is getting and so many wanting to see Salford fail, and people wonder why we can't get major sponsors with big financial support, who would invest in London with any common sense today or in fact in Rugby League, where is the game going? I'm not sure of it's future, time to accept we are a small time sport and with those at Red Hall that will not change very quickly, hope it does not get to the stage when it is too Late for Change!
