How come winning teams coaches still give them a rollicking when they don't perform well. Maybe the odd spray in public might make them wake up as treating them nicely certainly doesn't seem to be working.

Pop Pan is right...TR has blasted the players in the media on a few occasions and he is now taking the opposite approach.

He probably thinks that we haven't got enough quality in our squad but on the basis that he cannot change things at this juncture, he is not going to slag off players that are trying their best.

As for John Monie, don't get us started!.

And yet TR got rid of John Monie for poor results, despite JM complaining that he had a poor squad who he inherited. He then chose the players he wanted and he was pushed and TR took over the reins. Good job TR's not still CEO he'd have to sack himself

Good chance TR's record this year will be worse than JM's.

When you think of it, this club hasn't got a good track record with their choice and sackings of coaches.

Bring back Tony Currie

Another one that was pushed by TR for not performing ! See a pattern here? Mr Monie always said "There are 2 types of coaches, those that have been sacked and those that are waiting to be sacked"

These thoughts in the original post were uttered by the same man who has sacked the best performing player as captain, after that player has given a season and a half of top class performances.

Having spoken some time ago with mr Rea and Mr Monie, and considering their achievements I can only conclude that mr Rea is not fit to smell mr Monies farts. The irony of the sacking of Monie beggars belief.

You keep talking like you know what actually happened. Maybe you shouldn't sit behind your computer constantly giving opinions not based on any evidence whatsoever.

Or they did have a productive week training, resulting in an improved performance against a team who hammered their oppo the previous week, after we'd also been well beaten. Just a thought.
