I thought it was a great performance but how could I not given that it is the first win v St Helens at home since 2002?

Saints have concentrated almost all their salary cap on the top 17 and don't have much to choose from beyond that and thus they will win more games at full strength but suffer more than us with injury.

There is not a lot to choose between any of the top 25 for the Broncos bar a few irreplaceable matchwinners like Gower, Dorn and Witt but we have an army of similar forwards.

So it was nicely poised with the bookies giving us a six point handicap.
