If i lived as close as you lot to top flight RU teams i wouldn't bother watching RL. It's a tin pot regional sport which is on its backside.

In the same week, the RFL announce that their flagship competition and the lower divisions will start the season with no sponsor at all, they are running a TV campaign in Granada and Yorkshire TV regions to attract "new" fans and we only have 1 "partner" secured for the RLWC 2013 and still no word on a TV deal or schedule with about 190 working days until KO

Interesting that Brian Barwick has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of the RFL from February 1st, Ex Chief Exec of the FA as well as working in TV sport, a lot of experience, but I wonder will this be the answer to turn the game around at Red Hall!

It's massively more expensive to advertise on TV in London, and you're only promoting one club. Advertise on Granada and YTV and you're promoting the majority of clubs.

I think the Broncos and the RFL have done well in using new media as a more affordable and trackable marketing tool. The advert is on YouTube for all to see. They can see how many people have seen it, where they live, who referred them etc. The Broncos makes good use of Twitter. More bang for buck that way.

the NRL and Superleague are 2 totally different organisations, representing 2 different sports with different rules.....the NRL is #2 sport in Australia......the Superleague is on par with speedway.

BTW, Gambling institutions aren't foxy bingo associated with that scumbag Jeremy Kyle...I'd welcome SKY owning 50% of the comp (they bankroll 90% of it already) and VB ........i'll give you that one
