It's a wise move.

Change the kit every year, fewer and fewer people buy them as they become so devalued and unidentifiable creating a situation where wearing old random kits doesn't look out of place - further devaluing the newest release.

Interesting theory, but not one that any successful club has bought into.

Truth is, if they came up with a half decent, good quality shirt instead of the current old tat they are pedalling, then people would likely ditch their older version and support the club by buying the new editions. Last seasons shirt was an all time low for me and I am quite happy not to bother with a shirt at all until they come up with something a whole lot better. For the record, I bought 6 (home & away) shirts for myself and family last year and never put one on my back because it was such a load of crap. I am just amazed that the club seem happy to ignore what could be a decent revenue stream, if only they were prepared to put the effort in.

Great, let`s introduce the same rule over here........with the heap of crap that is our current atire Broncos won`t sell any shirts over a 5 year period. A master stroke, onwards and upwards......the other clubs will be oh so jealous

I didn't buy a shirt in the club shop last season as it was obvious it was an inferior quality. I did, however, buy the hoodie jacket and that has been great. Worn very regularly and still going strong. It doesn't attract much interest locally, but on a visit to the US the Broncos badge was a curiosity to border control both entering and leaving the country. Also attracted many questions in between.
