We had the same home shirt for seasons 2006 & 2007, give or take one or two of the sponsors' logos. I don't think any Superleague club has used the same home or away kit for more than one season since then.

I can't for the life of me understand the obsession with having new kits for every season. Presumably enough supporters of the big northern clubs are happy to spend £100 a season on two new shirts to make it financially worthwhile, but even most of the Championship clubs seem to have two new kits as well.

Given our own club's knack of not having the replicas on sale until several weeks into the new season, we don't even get a full season's worth of use out of them before they become obsolete. Personally I just buy them occasionally if I particularly like that year's design.

I prefer the prevalent NRL habit of away kits utilising similar basic colours to the traditional home colours. Much better than some of the random away colours chosen by Superleague clubs for one year only.

With poor quality of shirts last year, probably just as well they change every year.

I wont be getting one if same quality. my shirt this year is all roughed up even though probably worn about 20 times. Looks like i have worn every day of season.

How hard is it to following washing instructions?

It isn't - it's just the quality of the material in the shirts is crap!
