I'm no longer that bothered what our colours are. We've chopped and changed that much we simply don't have "traditional" club colours, which I think is very sad. I won't buy any more replica shirts as you never know when they'll change to something totally different at the drop of a hat.
I liked the original Fulham kit, which obviously had its origins in Fulham FC's black & white colours. I liked the red/yellow/blue quarters of the mid-90's, which were briefly revived as the 2010 away shirt. I assume this pattern was chosen as we were sponsored by "Foster's" lager at the time and these were their corporate colours, but it looked so distinctive I felt it worked. There was absolutely no doubt who that team in red/yellow/blue quarters was. Someone mentioned earlier that the current black/turquoise was chosen to look different from other clubs, but it has all the hallmarks of somthing chosen by a marketing consultant, no doubt paid far too much to think of something anyone possessing a modicum of imagination could have come up with.
If we were going to have an essentially all black kit it would have made more sense to me to revert to the Fulham-style black with white/red chevron. If we wanted something brighter that would give us a clear identity (and was already associated with the first "Broncos" era) go back to the red/yellow/blue. Or have one as the home kit and the other as the away kit.
