| Paddock that is really weird, I was just about to post the same thing, you must have read my mind. We stood there and watched him wait and shake the hand of every Broncos player coming off saying well done. Impressed wasn't the word.

| Smith seems to be a really good guy. I remember him saying that when he was a coach at Worky he had a flat above a Chippy. It smelt of chip fat and when he left he burnt all his clothes as they reeked of chip fat. He was having a right old chin wag with TR before the game as well.

| We commented on that on friday evening and the Wire fans we were sitting with said to us he does that when he feels total respect for players be it his own players or opposition players. We also noticed he turned his back on his own team, there was no hand shaking or back patting with them

| Agree with all comments regarding Smith. It is no coincidence that he is one of the few winners who is currently employed by a club that has enjoyed success while coaching in Super League, alongside Brian McDermott.

| OK, I'll join this love-in. Post match interview with Eddie Hemmings, Smith accepted that the defeat was down to him as coach. No waffle, just a straight answer, refreshing.
Wonder if his lengthy chat with TR had any influence on TR's decision to accept the Broncos job?
