any marketing and promo done tonight for the cup game?'"
There was mention of it on page 19 of the programme, but it was not included on the main fixture list/stats pages

| Would a good word to describe the club at the moment be moribund?

| Agree with you Darth a number of people said last night the only reason they turn up is because they have a season ticket, us included, that is really sad as I am talking about long term fans which go back as far as 20 years and beyond to Fulham. We have lost so many of the hardcore already, we sat last night discussing the amount of long term fans who have not bothered and it is really upsetting that the club has gone so far downhill. Will we all renew next year - whilst we have this type of performance I think not. The sad thing is on paper this is a talented team and probably the strongest for a long time so why in reality is this the worst we have watched for ages - answer no coaching ability. A fantastic bloke he may be but strong enough and knowledgeable enough he is not.
I fear for what will happen after the games on the road, we are away from the stoop for so long will anyone bother coming back. Will they bother trudging across London to Leyton and down to Gillingham. We wont, this team at the moment is not worth the amount of time it takes and the expense in petrol. A match where the performance is win, lose or draw is worth the time and expense if you are seeing a good solid team where performance, pride, and effort are expended and this is not the case.

| I left twenty minutes early.
After flogging in to London after a manic week at work I just couldn't be bothered to sit around knowing the best connecting train home was leaving given the standard of play. I'm in the only turning up because I have a season ticket / am in the habit group and share Rosetintedspecs fears that some of the few of us that remain will soon get out of the habit of showing up. Will I throw more money down the drain for the Challenge Cup? At the moment I genuinely don't know.
We have been asked why we don't bring friends along. Yesterday just summed it up. Shocking crowd, poor performance, match over with half an hour to go and a general air of atrophy. If I dragged someone who doesn't watch RL regularly along to that they wouldn't be back in a hurry. Personally I enjoyed watching Catalan, they are a good team, but someone watching their first game wants to see a competitive game or a good home win as they won't immediately pick up on the subtleties of the sport.

| Broncos coach Rob Powell said: "They came out of the box quickly and we struggled to contain them.
"I thought in the first half we did OK and were in the game.
"We should not concede four tries in 10 minutes and we have to get better at stopping momentum.
"There were some poor defensive reads and some poor refereeing decisions and that gave us too much to do.
"If you look at the overall game we did pretty well against a very strong side but things do not work like that."
The last line sums the bloke up- No coach should accept defeat at home under any circumstances ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

| The way we conceded those quick points was such weak defence, but give due we came back, but then after half time to let in try after try so quickly it was if some of the players had stayed in the changing rooms or perhaps had too much curry! there was no heart there at all, no pride in wearing the shirt. I accept that Catalan are a good side this season but so should we!
Can't comment what went on in the bar afterwards or how that side is run, but do we have full control of all facilities on match days?? fron our landlords or do they provide staff??

Powell seems to be a total loser with no presence about him at all. If he sets his standards so low that last night's effort constitute doing pretty well then its no wonder so few turn up to watch.
The signs were ominous before the first game when Powell said the players wouldn't be doing presentations in the bar as they didn't like it when they had lost. Firstly, agreeing to that was accepting that we were unlikely to win many home games this season either and secondly he should have told the players to suck it up and put in a bit more effort to avoid losing.
Powell, you are the weakest link...goodbye.

| Funny enough, talking about the season tickets, that's the ONLY reason I went last night even though I as in two minds not to. The kids (also ST holders didn't go as I slogged across London straight from work) said this morning... "Bet we lost again, didn't we Dad" which pretty much sums this years performances up up and sadly what they expect to happen. Just wondering if going to the Dewsbury Rams game is going to be worth the £££.
