Years back - in a bid to compete with Stella - The makers of Kroneburg and John smiths stuck their prices up by 50p per pint as an experiment and actually sold more beer (per volume not just profit) and made it a permanent switch. Maybe our £99 tickets are part of the problem. People do t see it as a premium product.

I think the club asking for an amount that averages £7.62 a game to watch Professional Sport in the London area is an outrageous scam when you could save twelve pence by using Groupon.

The cheap season ticket seems like a lazy effort of copying bradford's sports clubs, who used it very effectively to boost attendances. In their case they had blanket media coverage for the entire catchment area and really hyped it. In our case we just dumped the price of season tickets and watched our gates stay the same.
