I can only think of Kaufusi who has been seen gasping on occasion, but then not only has to make up for 2 props short he has to score the tries as well!
I said after the Hull game we should use Kaufusi to barge over when we get 10 metres from the line. Pick the defending opposing equivelant of Witt and your in. Obvious to me!?
Sorry Pop Pan but I'm not referring to players blowing out of their #rse.
More to the general lack of enthusiasm & urgency to get back & face up to the opposition when forming a defensive line.
As I stated, this is not just myself who has noticed this but every set of opposition supporters.
The thing that seems to me to be lacking is speed - speed of foot and speed of thought. The plan seems to be bash and barge with a (generally wayward) kick thrown in for variety. How often do we see flowing moves or multiple support players? I seem to recall a quote about Nick Fozzard that sort of suits us: "he would run through a brick wall for you - of course, anyone else would go round the sides". The fact that Kaufusi is our (joint) top try scorer adds to the picture.
