Yes, but in those years, their spending relative to the big boys was tiny. And often they outshone them.

My point is, yes we might be spending to the cap, but its who we've spent that money on. Just because you've spent up to the cap, doesn't neccesarily mean its on an all-star team.

I would call this years team a work in progress lets see how the first 6 games go.
