Well I am positive and can't wait for season to start.

I like the logo and the tops. Start simple and clean (and add a V next season). I think the seating will encourage fans to be closer together and improved atmos at the Stoop.

I have no problems with the website at the moment as long as a new news item comes up every other day.

Don't care about the sponsorship as long as there is one on the shirt and the kit has a proper press conference.

Am concerned they said there would be an 'event' for the naming of the captain and that has disappeared...

No shirt sponsor...that gets me. I won't buy the shirt until that is sorted - otherwise it just looks like an overly price polo shirt.

I mean.....London 2012 - get them to sponsor it!! Even if it's just one season. Jesh..

Bloody hell! This forum is doom and gloom before a play the ball has been made. Some reasons, I'll agree with and other I don't.

Rather than sit slating every move the club makes, why not do something about it? Bradford Bulls have a Supporters Trust that is called the "Bullbuilder". The aim of the Bullbuilder is to invest in the academy levels of their club but also "to build a conduit between the club and the fans with the understanding that we are not here to run or publicly criticise the club" as their website says.

Why not introduce BISA or LIST, Broncos Independent Supporters Association or London RL Independent Supporters Trust and try and build a link between the club and the fans. For example;

* The Supporters Trust is in charge of all new flag suggestions and money collections.
* If you want a meet the players evening, organise a venue (if the club won't accomadate the event) and ask the club if they're willing to send a few players.
* Organise a "Meet the Manager" evening, if logistics can be met.
* Try and organise a few meetings a year between the Trust's commitee members and its members and non-members to raise any issues and then organise, if possible, a meeting with the committee members and someone involved with the running of the club and voice the concerns, queries etc.
* Help with away travel.
* Help with fundraising towards London Rugby League etc.

Rather than sit and be keyboard bashing doom merchants, get involved, this is your club.

Tell me great Oracle...what exactly how it is it that you think we should get involved?

There are many fans of this club who have gone further than you could ever imagine to ensure that we have a club in London at all.
I am not talking about the meetings attended and the deals arranged by this poster on behalf of the club with the sole intention of generating additional fans and revenue for the youth set ups, I am not talking about the 20 or so hardy souls who traipsed around the streets of Charlton or Brentford door dropping leaflets, nor am I on about the guy who drove the mini-bus, through thick and thin to away games, not having a pint, but simply driving the bus there and back, getting home at stupid O'clock after dropping people off all over London and I am not even on about the volunteers who were so stupidly binned by the previous CEO/GM.... ......but people who have put their houses up as colateral to ensure the club survived pre SL era........


..without the hardy or so 1,500 fans of this club, there would be no club. As a result of the initial fanfare that accompanied the rebranding, we, the fans, expected more.......but as we are the fans, we should have also known better...the failure to deliver on a number of fronts is worrying........Jan 27th for the website.....over 4 months after the announcement........still no shirt sponsor.........still no fans forum or meet and greet.........some of us have been there before and YES......we do have the shirts to prove it.

You have a car I presume. Lets liken the Broncos/Quins/Crusaders etc to a car. You're car hs had problems with it at some point, you don't just leave it and leave it, do you? No. You get a mechanic to have a look at it and hopefully, change it for the better. To liken it back to the club, you have a problem, air it to someone who can then at a meeting bring up said problem with the club to hopefully stop that problem.

Yes, in the past there has been problems but why not bridge the gap between the fans and cub rather than bashing your fingers at a keyboard with your boring, repititive posts?

Never fully understood the percieved dichotomy between being a supporter of a sporting club and being a miserable whinging barsteward at the same time................it's what we are and what we do, from the tip of the Orkneys to the bottom of the needles, every sports fan of every sports club in whatever field participated in will moan and whinge even when they are top of whatever league they play in, that's what makes being a supporter so much damn fun

twas, apart from the "look what I did everyone" aspect of it.
