I fail to see how anyone can justify putting a negative spin on any of this....we all know what the club needs to do and the re-launch, regardless of what some say, was an opportunity to get some coverage.....it worked. On Saturday those at the double header will get a message.....there are 6 cabs with ads on them.....all of this is 1000000% better than anything tha club have attempted since the Leeds game with free VB in 2005.....and even better, if it's like this in the OFF SEASON, we can assume it will get better after christmas.
Yes......it's easy to have a pop...I should know, but for now, the Jury's out. If I have to retype the 2,500 point marketing plan again in September 2012 because the club has trundled through another season on 3k averages, then by all means cry foul......but for christs sake, give them a chance first.
Listy, there are at least 3 "stalled" stadiums in and around London. Some with Iron girders and foundations ready, but with a lack of funds......any of these would be worth a look, which is what the RFL and the club are doing.....yes, a 15,000 new stadium may seem a pipe-dream, but don't write it off just yet.
.....I have to say though, I am disappointed they didn't hold the launch at a roundabout with some flowers on it
