To be honest, I don't know what to expect, I don't think Gus's expectations off the pitch are realistic
1) Gus was talking of 40% increase in season ticket sales. Sadly, but unfortunately characteristically, they've not got anything concrete in place for anybody yet, let alone newcomers, at the moment I'd be amazed if they achieve a 20% increase
2) He was talking of a 60% increase in the take up in hospitality, that is one hell of target to aim for, and one that I don't see being reached
3) On the pitch, I can see us making the play-offs, just!
4) A bit at a time, I'll settle for a 20% increase in numbers coming through the gate, but if we don't achieve wins I can see the numbers staying around this seasons woeful numbers
5) The biggest hope of all - I hope I am proved wrong on all counts

Is that really that hard with decent deals and a high profile roll out of the new club with the new players we have on board

No, I would hope that 20% would be more realistic, had he said 20%, I would have agreed, not automatically gone for half of what he said



On reflection, I suppose 60% is achievable, I doubt that there were more than two occupied for most games, so one extra = 50%, hardly a massive step that will fill the coffers, but a step in the right direction

Give Gus a chance. I think He is a real genuine fella.

9th, a Challenge Cup quarter final, and an improved home record. All realistic aims I think - although on the home form I don't hold out too much hope. Our record in the last two years has been dismal.

Bloody hell, and people accuse me of being pessimistic. I will be furious if we don't make the playoffs this season considering some of the shabby sides that have scraped into them this year.

Hard to disagree with any of the above. keys are

- more wins than losses at home, which will get people coming back
- increased gate 4, 000 has to be tha aim and a couple of 5,000+
- 8th if we do better fantastic, but top eight should be achievable (Hull finsihed 8th on 27 points 13 wins, 13 losses and a draw. 8/9 home wins 4 away and a bonus will do it - though agree home form the last two years says we wont do it!)
- cup down to luck of draw, wembley would be great - but we would need luck.........................
