Well Stevo on Boots n All stated that for the first time ever we've spent to the Salary Cap limit and that we are certain to have London in the name + a new shirt. I know all this is old news to most of us, but let's just wait and see. The club were going to announce things this week, however that's been postponed according to Ian Ramsdale's Twitter. Hopefully they get this right and launch well!!!!

I am beginning to wonder if the delay is down to the fact that the play offs are on this weekend. And just maybe the club feel that if they announce anything about a new name, colours or even shirt, that they think they could get less press coverage due to this.


Pie in the sky dreams are that they have found a big named sponsor and they have to agree on the colours and the name and the length of sponsorship so that really is the delay..

I did read the announcement was going to be at the end of September i.e today.

So perhaps the announcement of the London Cockney Sparrows RLFC will coming in the next few hours?
