Erm, I'm pretty sure that would all be stuff people whose descendants are you Aussies did, not ours. I suppose all the forced adoptions, stealing aboriginal children, in the 20th century are the Brits fault too are they? Or maybe the "white Australia" immigration policy that continued through to the '70s? Backwaters often have attitudes that lag behind modern times...

Getting away from all these insults the NRL armies idea sounds good but when you think about it we do most of that stuff already on here. We have clubbed together to make flags and used to sponsor players, discuss where to meet and how to get to away games. I don't think this forum has had a social event that wasn't organised by the club though, but really this forum is like a supporters club in the sense of supporting the team, its just not officially recognised.
It's a tough question of what role we want the new supporters club to play but I think it's a good idea forming one and seeing what can happen with it

yes, there are many advantages of a supporters group. Supporter groups over here typical get rewards only available to them and often a club who is after the 'supporters voice' will go and ask their supporters group on marketing matters.

I'm pretty sure they get their own specific member section (season ticketed member) at a cheaper price then the rest of the members (or season ticketed members).
