Regarding Brentford - there were quite a few games were two sides were almost full. I prefered Griffin Park for the atmosphere, local pubs and transport links. I seem to recall you used to like it too (unless I've mixed you up with another board member!)

Cheers, if the ESL ever gets most or all of the games televised over there all the games would definitely be shown here.

Then I would record the games on IQ, the problem is there is only one game shown over here and ita mostly other teams. Channel 9 (free to air network) are merkins and treat Rugby League (both NRL and ESL) poorly, when foxtel had the rights to the ESL they showed it professionally.

If you had to use the trains, Brentford was pretty hopeless with only 1 train an hour on Sundays and getting kicked out for 7 games in the middle of summer was an absolute bummer.

Football stadia just won't work for us.

In the 'Independent' today, Dave Hadfield reckons that we're reverting to London Broncos next season. Does this mean we can keep Buck and Dusty?

not according to Gus Mackay, who told me personally that "they were associated with the failed Broncos". I reckon if we put enough pressure on, we could keep them, they didn't want to keep them when we first went to Quins and it is more logical to keep them.

There seems to be a bit of a split here. David Hughes is on record as saying he likes the Broncos brand and hinted today he wants it back. Gus seems less convinced. Personally I'm with Gus, it is associated with a failed club, Broncos have no relevance in London and Broncos took 1.5m of taxpayers money south. Between the three I think we'd be better off with another name.

However, I will be buying a season ticket next season. David will be spending a million quid or so. Frankly he's entitled to call us what he wants.

As someone mentioned earlier, 'London Sea Eagles' would seem to be appropriate and also has a nice ring to it.
