So it would appear that Quins (or whatever) in their infinite wisdom have decided to release the two players that I (and a number of others) would like them to have kept. That's the way to build for the future after a lamentably poor campaign in which they have amply demonstrated that they are not fit to belong in SL.

Sounds a good idea, but what? maybe we could do a Poznan and face away from the play all the game, at least I will go home in a better mood!

I don't know, I'm just spitballing really. But I want the club to know how unhappy we all are with current events, I don't want them to get away with what usually happens at home games, i.e. we lose, the atmosphere is funereal, we politely clap the players off then retire to the bar and shrug our shoulders. The way this club is being run at the moment is pretty appalling (we shouldn't be finding out about player departures via twitter) and I think we should let Mackay, Powell, Randall et al know that.

Off the top of my headl I can think of two approaches, not mutually exclusive - a stunt at the next home game largely for the benefit of the press and the fans who don't know what is going on and an email campaign to the club letting them know what we think. I am sure we could embarrass the club big time if our actions got on twitter/facebook etc.

I don't really get the hype from Wilkes. OK, he was our best prop this year, but that wasn't exactly difficult with what we have. I think he's just a another journeyman plodder and will be forgotten about next season. Especially with Kaufusi coming in, he is what our pack is missing and needs.

I just hope Ward isn't given a contract extension.

Didn't Kaufusi say recently he hadn't heard anything from Quins? I know the Knights want rid of him but think he's keen to stay.

Was Ellis offered a contract or not. Or were we just out bid? Who is his agent?

According to Ellis himself, he wasn't his choice to leave London.
So I doubt very much he was offered a new deal
