| Bundling things up a bit, a bit of a bodge, but an indicator maybe.
West London/Middlesex 9%
North London/Essex 14%
East London/Kent 19%
South London/Surrey 24%
Other 35%
So the winner is Other and the loser is the area where our ground is.
OK, only 75 votes so far and some of them may be trolls, but maybe it does indicate that we're in the wrong place? Or, more likely, that there isn't a "right place" for a London SL club.

Regardless of where they play, the club need to sort out the team/management first. 1.5 million a year out of Mr Hughes wallet to prop the club up? Seriously? 1.5 million? Where exactly is that being spent?
[uIF[/u they get another 3 years then I would suggest a new coach and 3 marquee players are the order of business straight away.

Spent my first few years living just off Oxford St, W1 and went to nursery in Soho! Now live here...

Much respect to the fans that travel so far to watch the team, moreso and they haven't been doing too well in the last few seasons!!! Actually to all fans that have been through the rollercoaster.

And as you showed great self control by not mentioning the 'M' word, I will. Last week I received an e-mail from the RFL, no less, advertising the next two CRUSADERS games. Never had anything about Quins from them.

I suppose the "right place" would be as close as possible to Central London, or at the very least a bit closer to a well served station than The Stoop. It probably doesn't make a lot of difference which quarter of Greater London we're based in.
Obviously the ground itself is far too large, but purely as a hypothetical example in terms of location and proximity to station the ideal would be somewhere like Arsenal FC. So in the real world, we'll be lucky to find anywhere better than where we already are.

| Not far from Lewisham - moved here in 1985 when London were at Crystal Palace (first time) - then they upped sticks to Chiswick.. The worst ground to get to from here is Twickenham..... it was less than 15 minutes cycling to Charlton.

| Warlingham, East Surrey. Unfortunately Tandridge District doesn't have any sports stadiums and as we're 90%+ green belt we won't be getting any anytime soon. Takes around 50 mins from front door to car park when the M25 is going okay, a move further north would be a killer, as would be any move deeper into London away from the M25 (unless it's close to Victoria or London Bridge, which is highly unlikely given the absence of suitable venues).
