Didn't see the advert for Surrey cricket, I assume it was primarily for the Twenty20 competition that's just got underway. If anyone's thinking of going, be aware it's £25 to pay on the day, which I think is too much for a competition whose original aim was to fill cricket grounds with people who wouldn't normally think of spending a day at a cricket match:


The advert for Surrey Cricket was giving a 20% discount on Twenty20 tickets when bought in advance. Using the code it works out to be £16 for an adult ticket. icon_thumb.gif

That said, given our average crowd at the stoop is 3,605 over 73 games since we returned to TW2, I still would steer away from commenting on other teams attendances, regardless of if that team is older than Paddock or not icon_wink.gif

BTW.....6,582 is the average at Wakey this year....that's up on last year by nearly 600 a game and I would suspect that will get better as they still have Castleford to come calling.....not bad for a club supposedly dealing with the stench of death according to some.
