He made the same point in his editorial in RL Express this week. I think the travails of the Swans in Sydney perfectly illustrates where we are right now. As an example of where the Swans and AFL footy in Sydney is now, the Swans won the AFL Premiership in 2006 and next year a second AFL team will be based in the city. However, I think we all know what will happen if the RFL were to effectively take us over in the way the AFL took over the financial running of the Swans - it would give our "friends" in Widnes and Leigh apoplexy.

Who cares. They want expansion it's going to cost.

If the RFL want/need London, then it's time they put some of their "hard earned" cash into the project.........
